In previous years, those who have attended were in the 12-17 year range. This year what I would absolutely love to see is a more intergenerational class. First Fridays have grown to be just that, and I think it would be a truly wonderful experience to have a week of First Fridays topped off with a nice big opening celebration at the end.

Don’t be shy…Give it a try!

Artists will learn how to handle materials and participate in a shop environment. This can lead to wonderful collaborations in printing and expanding on initial concepts.

An exhibition celebrating the week's accomplishments is scheduled for Sunday, July 19th. Friends and Family are invited to attend. (Time TBD).

Space is limited to 5 students per session. Link to register by July 7.

First Fridays will resume in September

First Fridays at PrintSpace have been a way to come together once a month and share ideas and interests while making prints of one kind or another. We have created some great art together, and I've appreciated the innovations, support and kindness of our community of printers!

It has also served as a teaser. Do you like this particular technique and want to explore its properties in depth? Schedule a session to experiment and print with your own focus. Organize your own small group session for a great bonding activity!

I absolutely love opening the studio so people can experience the workings of an etching press and the camaraderie of a printmaking studio.
